Favorite Things! (TTMT)

Heidi's Talk To Me Tuesday (TTMT) post this week is about "Favorite Things" (think, Oprah style). I got kind of excited about this one! Bear with me... Heidi posted this topic last week and I have been thinking about it ever since.

The first thing that comes to mind are Usborne Books. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books for the boys. I have only gone so far as to purchase books of the cardboard (or very thick paper) nature, but we love them and I feel like Matthew has learned so much from them. More specifically, my favorite Usborne's are the "My Very First", "Look and Say" and "Touchy Feely" series. And no, I don't sell Usborne, so this is not a shameless plug! But, if you do by from a rep or a party a lot of times you get books free with purchase. However, I find a bunch of them on half.com, Amazon.com and have even seen a few at Barnes & Noble. Or, check your local library, ours is chalk full of them and we always have a stack at home for free (and those are my favorite).

Second, The North Face Women's Thunder Jacket. A little pricey, but in my opinion, worth every penny. I received this as a Christmas present in 2007 and it still looks brand-spanking new {and it has been through a lot, including the Rocky Mountains!}, and it is SO warm! My favorite part about this jacket is that it is very light weight down, so it is incredibly warm but not bulky whatsoever. Love.

Next up, the Cuisinart SmartStick Hand Blender. Also a Christmas gift, from last year. Since that time it has replaced almost any use of our fancy-dancy Black & Decker food processor and all use of a traditional blender. Most notably, it has been instrumental in making all of Owen's baby food, to-date. I am a huge fan of it and all of it's attachments.

I feel like I have a whole list of other favorites that I could put in a little blurb about, but will leave at this for the morning!
